MISSOULA- Pearl Jam fans who experienced a cyber shutout when tickets went on sale online a month ago got a second chance at the Missoula concert Friday. but they had to do it the old-fashioned way, by waiting for hours in line.

Two hours after the Adams Center box office doors opened Friday morning there were nearly 100 Pearl Jam fanatics camping out for their chance at the additional 1,100 tickets the box office decided to release to the public.

The fans we talked with say the long wait is a much easier way to access the September concert than online.

“I remember I had two computers and my cell phone all going at one time and I wasn’t able to get through and I was let down, you know, I was like, ‘bummer, I’m not gonna get to see the show.’ so yeah, this was good news when the second round came out so we had to make the trip,” Jon Totten from Coeur D’Alene said.

Many fans came prepared for the day-long campout and we even caught one woman in line who was studying for the Bar Exam, which she takes Monday.
